Moon Restaurant Besar

Moon restaurant is located at Besal village. This is the best place for breakfast lunch dinner depends on what time you are there because after that it's a long drive till Chilas and the only stop after that you will find is Babusar Top where it's hard to find any decent restaurant. It's little more expensive but food and atmosphere is good. This restaurant is also dhaba style. The view is very good from that area. It's located in the center of mountains. Small different kinds of shops and restaurants are also there too.Besal is a small village located in Kaghan Valley in, Manshera District of KPK province of Pakistan. It sits 3260 meters above sea level. It is adjacent to the Kunhar River, about 45 kilometers north of Naran. It is the starting point for hiking trails like Dudipatsar Trail. It is accessible by cars and motorbikes.

I have stopped here coming from Islamabad to Skardu and back and both times I appreciated all. Food is excellent and big choice, there are plenty of facilities, parking space, clean and wide washrooms, big open space with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere and playground for children. Service is kind and accurate. Prices more than honest. So is a must if you have to travel along. Fully recommended!

Driving from gilgit to Balakot, this was my lunch stopover after passing babusar . We had a late lunch around 2pm plus . Lots of toilets available.. restaurant was big and airy . Service was attentive and nice here . Food was delicious here , we love the ambience , outdoor scenery .. definitely a highlight of our visit to Pakistan good food and lovely people

We were tired and tried this place. And it was good decision. Variety of food options almost all types. Staff is very good, helping and courteous.Food is also good. Recommended place.Just one issue they have plenty of place, so family area should be separated.

Aesthetic , its Besar. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of traditional Pakistani dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

Best resturant for stop over for breakfast lunch or dinner before climbing babusar top or if u r going back then after coming down from babusar top. Food is served fresh and is tasty more often than not. Ambience is good out and indoor sitting arrangement available. Variety of food is also a plus. Rates not too exxegerated. Plenty of clean washrums with on duty cleaning staff
